Hi Mark,

 

pS UI is much more than a CLI tool. It is a GUI with automatic graphing of the results, access to archived measurements and so on.

Of course new pS UI will be using the pScheduler API for the triggering of performance measurements.

If you’re okay with logging into your central point, pScheduler’s command-line interface can be used to run tests on other hosts.  This is described in the documentation at http://docs.perfsonar.net/pscheduler_client_tasks.html#running-tests-from-other-hosts.  I recommend using the second form with the --assist switch pointed at host2 as used in the examples.
