Hello,

I have an issue with shutdown –r (reboot and init 6) not rebooting perfSonar v3.5.1.7. The system goes through the shutdown process then the last thing on the screen is Restarting system. Then nothing it just hangs there. I also tried shutdown –h which worked fine. The system shutdown and powered off.

This is a fresh install from DVD overwriting the previous contents on the disk (Windows 7). The hardware is a Dell Optiplex 790. Any ideas on what to look at to solve this issue?

Thanks,

Carlo
