Dan,

I had checked the MD5 of the download against what the download page said it should be and everything matched. I have also re-'burned' the iso to the usb drive several times with no change, so I do not suspect a corruption there.

I am going to try and see if I can install Ubuntu and see if I can get that to install. This could be an odd issue with CentOS and this hardware. A part of me suspects an issue with CentOS interacting with the HD, but I haven't been willing yet to start changing settings in the bios.

Hi Zach,

Sorry to hear that you’re having trouble. Starting off easy - have you verified the md5 of the download with the posted one? It’s possible that some parts of either the “burn” or the download got corrupted.

Hi,

I have downloaded pS-Toolkit-3.5.1-FullInstall-x86_65-2016Mar03.iso and installed that onto a USB thumb drive. I have a SuperMicro (Model# 512-3, Part# 5018D-MF) server which I am attempting to install PerfSONAR onto. I am able to boot from the UBS drive and go through the install process without issue until the end when I get the following error message:

"Unable to read group information from repositories. This is a problem with the generation of your install tree"

When I reboot to the main HD, I get a black screen with a blinking cursor.

Has anyone else run into this issue? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to install the toolkit properly? I've even tried installing plain CentOS 6 and I couldn't get the installer to even load.

Thoughts?
Thanks,
