Hi Roderick,

We have a fix in the forthcoming 3.5 that should help with this (3.5 is in release candidate testing now and should have a final release late-Septemeber/early-October).  The “globally registered” check on the web page seems to often try an IP when only a hostname is registered on the field it checks or vice versa. As you have noted, you host is actually registered as evidenced by the fact you see it on stats.es.net. The web page is just not properly doing the look-up.

FWIW, we’ll be sending a note on our second release candidate in about a week, you may want to consider trying it out to verify this issue is fixed.

Thanks,
Andy

Hi

Ok, our problem seems the same as the thread (so apologies for the new one):
"ls_registration service 403 Forbidden”

and our nodes are appearing on http://stats.es.net/ServicesDirectory/? :)

The problem then for us is the red “No” on the front page. Based on Andy’s description in the thread mentioned above - "The web page works by asking for a host record from the LS got the local host. “ - I think it may have to do with our dual-homing setup and multiple DNS entries?

Thanks,

Roderick
