Hey John,

If you’d like to try out a beta version of the Toolkit that lets you
configure the interfaces for tests, I can point you at a NetInstall
for an -rc release of the next Toolkit version.

Aaron,

Yes, I would like to try the RC build. Thank you.

The easiest way to start would be to download and install http://software.internet2.edu/branches/release-3.4/rpms/el6/i386/main/RPMS/Internet2-repo-0.5-2.noarch.rpm on a 3.3.2 host. You can then do:

yum clean all
yum update

And it should install -rc1 of the Toolkit on the host. Do a reboot, and everything should come up. It should preserve all your existing tests. However, it can’t hurt to run this as root:

ps-toolkit-migrate-backup.sh  /root/configuration_backup.tgz

Before doing the upgrade. This will save all your existing configuration.

After that, you should be able to go into the Regular Testing GUI, and set the interfaces as needed.

Cheers,
Aaron
