perfSONAR User Q&A and Other Discussion

Dear Vedrin,

Thank you for your prompt answer. Unfortunately, I have already checked
all those parameters many times. To be honest I have faced the same
problem in the past when I first install perfSONAR MA service but I
cannot remember the workaround. 

It would be nice if an experienced developer can provide some guidelines
on how to start the debugging.

Hi Yannis,

The NullPointerException may be caused by various reasons. One of them
could
be that your $TOMCAT/conf/catalina.properties file doesn't point to the
correct components.properties.ma and service.properties.ma files,
located in
$PERFSONAR/conf, as suggested here:

If this doesn't help in your case, than it might be a good idea to check
again
your CLASSPATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH environmental variables as well. The
former
should be set to the value, suggested by the install script, the later
should
include the $PERFSONAR/contrib/rrdjtool/build folder.
