Hi Yannis,

The NullPointerException may be caused by various reasons. One of them could
be that your $TOMCAT/conf/catalina.properties file doesn't point to the
correct components.properties.ma and service.properties.ma files, located in
$PERFSONAR/conf, as suggested here:

If this doesn't help in your case, than it might be a good idea to check again
your CLASSPATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH environmental variables as well. The former
should be set to the value, suggested by the install script, the later should
include the $PERFSONAR/contrib/rrdjtool/build folder.
