Well, IIRC trunk/nmwg is actually an external reference into the https://anonsvn.internet2.edu/svn/nmwg repository. So, it is already independent. We will handle moving things from there to OGF as time allows. For now, I think you guys can just ignore it.

Yes, that seems the most reasonable choice.

To be very specific, is all those protocol documents you're speaking
about contained in the /trunk/nmwg/ directory or are there other
places as well?
