Thank you very much for the great advices.
Indeed switching the parameter service.ma.conf_file.store_type (of 
RRD-MA) to "file" helped, so found what needs to be fixed in our RRD-MA 
configuration.

Meanwhile tried to investigate another problem that appeared quite often:
when initializing the eXist collections (database) with the previous LS 
release: /home/perfsonar/webapps/XML-LS-1.2 everything works fine, but 
with the latest one: /opt/perfsonar/services/xml-ls anytime after 
initializing I have a blue screen generated from eXist admin panel 
(check the attached file). It appears from eXist, "Admin", "Browse 
Collections" and "Manage Users" and it is quite consistent. Any ideas? 
So far I must go to the previous version of LS.
