One important question here: What kind of operating system is on the box?
RedHat or Fedora? For RedHat a lot of packages are missing in the standard
repository (especially for the Perl services). We would have to take care of
these deficiencies. This also raises the question of the architecture of the
box (i386? x86_64? sparc?...), because some required Perl modules might be
architecture dependend.
For both operating systems it might be necessary to install required packages
from the standard repository. Should we provide a list to make it possible
for the administrator to install these dependencies via yum?
