Szymon;

The branch can be found here:

<https://svn.internet2.edu/svn/nmwg/branches/snmp/>http://anonsvn.internet2.edu/svn/nmwg/branches/snmp/ <https://svn.internet2.edu/svn/nmwg/branches/snmp/>

The most interesting parts (i.e. the parts that everyone should read *VERY* carefully and comment on) are here:

TODO_SNMP.txt

Where is the above file? I can't find it

In that branch:

http://anonsvn.internet2.edu/svn/nmwg/branches/snmp/TODO_SNMP.txt

example_instances/(snmp|utilization|errors|discards)/*xml
rnc/(snmp|utilization|errors|discards).rnc

There are a lot of new concepts, and some comments on the current state of things (both service and protocol wise) that potentially could change with the adoption of some of these ideas. Please read and comment appropriately.

How does your proposal relate to the work David was doing on new SNMP counters and the schemas he sent?

David has proposed a standalone schema similar to the utilization characteristic. We have done somthing similar for errors and drops, but have tied all of these together along with the tool namespace snmp. Reading the examples will probably help to make more sense in explaining how the 4 will interact together.
