Hi Clay, sorry to bother you again, it was all going so well this morning

This is what I have done to install the jdk: -

[martyn@localhost local]$ export 
PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/j2sdk-1_4_2_09-linux-i586.bin
copied over j2sdk-1_4_2_09-linux-i586.bin to /usr/local
su:
[root@localhost
 local]# ./j2sdk-1_4_2_09-linux-i586.bin

Should that do it?
