Forget that - it looks like a problem with xmlcopyeditor. When I asked it to associate the XML schema with the document, xmlcopyeditor removed the xmlns:ec attribute from InclusiveNamespaces for some reason. The xmlns:ec attribute *is* in the xml generated by the marshalling.
