All,

We're a bit confused on patching methodology for Grouper. According to the 
docs, when you patch the UI, you give the grouper installer the path to the 
UI's dist directory. We did this and patched everything fine. But we later 
ran ant dist on the UI to rebuild the UI. Does this not wipe and re-create 
the dist directory? And does that not wipe out all of our patches that were, 
I assume, applied directly to the dist directory?

We're now getting some errors that joda-time versions mismatch: version 1.6.2 
instead of 2.9.7.

Our Grouper UI is also starting up very slowly and complaining about LDAP 
pool creation problems, but I think those issues might be unrelated. Just 
thought it best to sort out the patching thing first.

Where should we point the patching process? If the dist directory is right, 
how to we rebuild after patching if we want to build in customizations?
