There is a subject filter where you can make a filter in Java to remove
results based on the current user...

Would that work?

Thanks,
Chris

Subject: [grouper-users] dynamic subject source and access

Let's say we have a subject, is a member of a group, with admin rights in
that group.

Let's say this subject, logs in and wants to add another member into the
group.
when this user looks-up the subjects, is there a way to have a subset of
subjects that only this user (group-member) can see?

Example:

There are these subjects loaded into the db subject table:
Mickey, Minnie, Snoopy, Charlie

Mickey logs in and wants to add Minnie into DisneyGroup.

Charlie logs in and wants to add snoopy into PeanutsGroup

Is there a way to make sure that Mickey can only look-up/search/list Minnie
and not see charlie or snoopy? and similarly, make sure that Charlie can
only look-up/search/list snoopy and not see Mickey and Minnie in the subjects?

Trying to do this dynamically, where all subjects, groups, members are created
dynamically, without any prior configuration.

Thanks,
mohan
