Hello !

YES !!!!

I am very pleased to announce you that my proposal conference on Grouper at RMLL2012 (http://2012.rmll.info) is ACCEPTED !

Thanks to Chris Hyzer for fast-acting with problem of licences in some sources !

The responsible explains that there are more and more legal battle and he had to be very strict with license to certify open sources software. He explains that the tools for automatic generation code javado not manage themselves metadata about authors and licenses, which tends to confuse the issue. When you add metadata license thanks to a script, you decrease the incidence of this deficiency.The best method for facilitate the licence audit is to take off all codes from automatics generators and give the invocation script of generators, in order to distribute in a source package only code written directly by authors. He intends to intensify the control...

Good day !

Do you need it in packages other than the api?  :)

Thanks,
Chris

Hello,

Thanks for your fast response.
The responsible demands that the license written in sources before
accept my conference... Perhaps it is the right time to do the sources
updating ?
I think if I can give a period of rapid updating, my conference could
be accepted.

Thanks.
Brigitte

Subject: [grouper-users] Licence Grouper

Hello,

I proposed to make a conference on the use of Grouper in french
community "esup-portail" at the 13th Libre Software Meeting in july
2012 (http://2012.rmll.info/en) but to verify the eligibility of my
conference, responsibles have to verify licences in sources. And
unfortunately, he seen that 822 files don't have the Apache mention
licence. He asks me to complete these licence. I don't think that it
will be possible quickly ?

It seems that these authors are concerned :
@author blair christensen.
@author chris hyzer
@author GIP RECIA - A. Deman
@author harveycg
@author Kate
@author mchyzer
@author Rob Hebron
@author shilen

Thanks for your advises.
Best regards
Brigitte
