Matt,

I'm very glad that we're connecting and I also look forward to working 
with you guys to see what grouper might offer for you, and vice versa to 
learn where grouper may need to grow.

Looking over the GAP wiki, it may be that both grouper and signet, the 
privilege management system being developed by I2, should be examined to 
see where and how they each might integrate with the Spinning off GAP 
project. Signet's at <http://middleware.internet2.edu/signet>, and Lynn 
McRae (being CCd) is the project lead.

Should we try to find some synchronous communication time to quickly and 
collectively get up to speed on these technologies and projects (ie, 
conf call or f2f somewhere)? I'll also post some comments to the 
GAP/Grouper wiki in the next couple of days.
