include "lr=true" as opposed to only "lr" -- that will make Messenger happy. Though
unusual, I'm not aware of implementations which could not live with it and my interpretation
is it does not break the spec.

On close inspection, I agree that requirement doesn't break the standard, although it's a pity they can't copy the examples in the RFC. The "Method not supported" response to an INVITE with just ";lr" certainly is a breaking the standards, though. :-)

On doing a quick check, I have found at least one softphone implementation that appears to search for just the tag ";lr" and doesn't like it followed by a "=", but I can live without it. :-)
