We have been using Asterisk now for about 6 months. we run my whole
departments, about hard 25 phones, 5 softphones and several websites off that
server and are looking at giving students voicemail and ivr functionality in
the dorm rooms. I have used Vocal and SER in the past but the were not a
full featured as Asterisk

I am curious what SIP proxies folks are using and their experiences. I
am looking for a highly standards compliant proxy, especially one that
is geared toward generic SIP support as opposed to being targetted as a
telephony server. It should have some sort of API so I can develop
custom interfaces.
