*Discussion*

Deke has agreed to be interim chair of the PIC WG. Deke and Prashant will co-chair the PIC session at the Member Meeting.
[ACTION] Jonathan and Deke will look for a permanent chair for the PIC WG.

The group reviewed the RTC-AG use cases (see http://www.internet2.edu/rtc/files/RTC_Executive_Summary.pdf) for relevance to
PIC.edu. While it's not clear how relevant the specifics of the RTC-AG use cases are, there was general agreement that we want to have at least a
"use case zero" -- an interoperable way to deploy text-based IM with rudimentary presence -- and a "use case one", which
would add an additional means of communication (say, voice) and a way to indicate which means of communication an individual
is available to use. There is a very rough correspondence between use case zero and RTC-AG's Education and Instruction use
case, and between use case one and RTC-AG's Research Collaboration use case.

Ben and Candace further discussed use cases on Friday, April 13, and Candace posted some materials to
https://wiki.internet2.edu/confluence/display/picwg/PIC+Use+Cases . [ACTION] Ben will elaborate on the entertainment/social
and organizational-support use cases on the wiki. The idea here is to create very concise use cases to incorporate into the
PIC.edu survey, in order to a) find out how people on the campuses are interested in using the technology and b) recruit
people to work on the project.
