My 2c worth is that 802.11 is very important and critical if you have any demonstration at a conference must work over 802.11.
So problematic? I assume you just refer to the problem of providing garanteed QoS and not something else?
Okay, so thinking not only in terms of a trial but more broadly in
terms of a campus or enterprise deployment, do we believe that we've
learned WoWLAN is very important?
By problematic I meant that getting it to work was problematic.
My memory is that VoWLAN worked great on a lightly loaded WiFi network.
However, in the presence of congestion, the failure mode was ugly and
unpredictable. I'm not sure that we learned that QoS is a solution.
Did we learn anything reportable about what is needed to make VoWLAN work,
or only that when it doesn't work, it's icky?
