I downloaded a fresh version of sipc this morning - 2.44 Built 2004-07-07 .

When I started it the first time I got an error but it eventually ran.
I quit and restarted and did not get the error the second time.  When
I reinstall I always remove \Documents and Settings\user\.sipc\ -
don't know if that is still necessary.

I'm still having problems with slow start-up - consumes all the CPU
and takes a minute or so before it responds.

I tried deleting "siptest3 wave3" and "siptest2 wave3" from the buddy
list and they reappear when I restart sipc.  It does send the
SUBSCRIBE to pals and gets a 200 OK.  So I suspect pals is not
managing this properly.

Finally, pals seems to have stopped responding - has SER crashed again?
