I've asked this before, but I'm still unclear, so please bear
with me.
I'd like to ask for some help in understanding what role we think
instant messaging has as part of the member meeting demo.
Would the use of a jabber client like Fire for MacOS X have a
place in the demo? Would managing presence information from within
such a client be consistent with, or inconsistent with plans so
far? For instance, could the presence information in support of
IM feed into the Integrated Communications portal we've been
talking about? Is there any advantage in trying to achieve this,
perhaps as an alternate way to allow users to manage or override
their own presence information?
