I am still getting PBS (currently singing dinosaurs)  from the TAMU transmission. we do peer with NLR over WRN, I believe.

If still TXing at 2:20pm EST, I cannot receive that stream in Maine (via the NoX).
Nor do I see a source for it via MSDP.
If this stream is to verify mcast capability, I would not equate successful TX'ing as proof of ability to RX.

A flat out WAG here, but looking for a difference in the sites you list, I think those sites that can see you are/were NLR (Packetnet) sites, those that cannot are not.

Backing up, I'd verify mcast setup with your upstream I2 provider (provided by LEARN?) and see if they can RX both your stream as well as those from NOAA.

Howdy,
We got some encouraging results from our Multicast test yesterday.
I made a mistake in the URL that caused me and possibly others a problem.
The URL for VLC is udp://@233.7.178.5:5004 .  Apparently the @ is important.

Results from those that gave me feedback
Did receive: LSU/LONI, Hawaii, Miss. State
Did NOT receive: U of Minn, USC

We still can not receive the NOAA streams.

Do we have a geographical gap on I2 for multicast?
