I'm not actively doing multicast support these days, but I believe this
might still be applicable as an alternative solution for those with
JUNOS:
protocols {
msdp {
source 0.0.0.0/0 {
active-source-limit {
maximum 500;
threshold 450;
}
}
}
}
That should temper the number of SAs from any one misbehaving end
host. Adjust the numbers per your requirements. I2 should have a full
suite of hardening ideas on their multicast support pages.
