Three years ago, someone in Europe tuned their IP/TV broadcast to a UEFA
Cup match between Feyenoord and some other European team. Back then,
there was no other way to watch football from Europe except for the token
Manchester United tape delay.

I was glued to the monitor. :-)

So yes, a community of interest that finds it can utilize a multicast
infrastructure will be followed by others into doing the same thing, *and*
find an audience that will demand access to that infrastructure.

IMDB or Apple ought to be able to do this, since they carry the trailers.
Since they hae worked otu all the legal and MPAA issues, it's just a
matter of extended that ersource to a new market via multicast. But will
people know about that and ask for access to multicast?
