Why aren't the SAP announcements from the VBrick showing up in
sdr or the IP/TV content manager iptvhost.uoregon.edu?
Looks like sdr doesn't think that the announcements are valid because of the session id. While running it with debug enabled it writes

non-digit in session ID
Problem with packet. Dumping...

An entry from such an announcement looks like [IP address mangled to protect the innocent]

o=- 0007df0006b5 1 IN IP4 132.236.888.999

The SDP RFC (2327) says the session id is a numeric string (I'd guess base-10 numbers?), while the VBrick ones look hexadecimal (e.g., "0007df0006b5").

The bandwidth values also seem suspect (but probably not a basis for discarding). One of ours has

b=AS:5689900

which is in bits per second, but the RFC lists the bandwidth-value as in kilobits per second (probably powers of 2, not 10).
