greetings Mark,

recently (within the last month), i spoke with a VBrick
representative about their VB-4000 series product line.
i asked "Can I view the stream with an IP/TV client",
and the reply was "No". i then asked if i would have to
use their client (StreamPlayer) to view the VBrick
generated stream, and the answer was "Yes".

you might want to contact VBrick support and find out
what is proprietary to their system.

regards,
