Is anyone out there having problems with multicast
applications running under Windows XP pro? At first when I
started working with XP, I thought the applications were to
blame, but after visiting Marshall's multicast tester and
discovering that I was told I'm not multicast-enabled,
At this point I am pretty sure XP is the problem. I know of
people on my campus who are successfully using IP/TV 3.4beta
with XP, but both machines I've installed XP on don't
work. This would point to a network configuration issue, but
I haven't the foggiest what might be wrong. I have tried
enabling and disabling the built-in firewall and the QOS
shim, but neither affects the problem. Ideas?
