Just to close the loop on this, the logging crash Andre found is fixed in
the log4shib patch I released (1.0.4, without formal announcement) earlier
this week.

Unfortunately I just found a serious regression in the changes I did to fix
partial logout handling that went out in 2.3, and it's crashing on a logout
attempt for a SAML 2 session when the IdP doesn't have Logout metadata (i.e
any Shibboleth IdP, etc.) Not sure how that escaped my testing.

Anyway, there are a few semi-serious fixes now accumulated, plus a fix TBD
for the issue UNC ran into with their metadata, so I expect to do a 2.3.1
rollup at some point over the holiday window in case anybody's bitten by
this. The good thing about the Build Service is that I can do patch releases
without too much effort now.
