We here at UW did some alpha-testing with Microsoft before the beta 1
release.  This tested the Shib 2.x SP against a Geneva IdP.  So I'm pretty 
sure there's a SAML 2 IdP in the beta 1 box.

At a recent meeting a MS person on the Geneva team said that beta 2 would 
be shipping "in the first half of 2009" and would include more solid 
implementations of both sides.  And the final RTM version would happen by 
the end of 2009.

None of which solves your ADFS problem any time soon ...
