When I used the default, "/Shibboleth.sso", I got an "o" tacked
onto the domain of the shire in the request to the Idp.
The IdP received,

GET /shibboleth/HS?
  shire=https%3A%2F%2Flost.cac.washington.eduo%2FShibboleth.sso%2FSAML%2FPOST&
  time=1118789360&target=cookie&...


Note the "eduo".  I haven't investigated further, except to try
to get around the error.  I cannot find any "eduo" in my
config files.
