> sunra -- a very old sun

I'd note that this is the only box I can really do Sun testing on. Mine are
way too slow (even compared to this) and/or being used.

I think that's probably more practical than anything else. I'd say do
Windows and stick VMWare on inside it with a routed network to the outside
world, so we can ssh into whatever VMs are running. I know the VMWare
Windows host is more stable (or used to be) then the Linux host.

I think it's based more on compiler level than anything. Fedora 2 and 3 use
different compilers, so we need both a 3.3 and a 3.4-based Linux to test on.
I can cover FC3 for now, that's what I'm using here.

I'd say if ES is the same gcc as FC1 or FC2, we could just use the ES build
alone for that platform and not bother with Fedora. The problem with it is
patching, since it goes out of support very fast, and fedora legacy is not
working, if it even still exists.

2000, but only because I have 2003 here. We really need both.

If we're going new, I'd say 2.9 probably, and we really should get a copy of
Forte alongside gcc. If it's a fast enough box, I'd say the best thing would
be to build gcc from source into separate trees so I can build different
versions.
