presumably, we have several weeks before we'll start banging hard on the machines in AA.... and I'm presuming that the sysadmins in AA have recovered somewhat from the building move, and that we could talk to them about possible tasks....
what OS' would we like to see installed on these machines before we begin testing and packaging?
I believe the machine list currently includes:
shibprod0 (the wayf machine) -- I believe the shibprodx machines are currently running a very old RH
shibprod1, 2 -- available for testing
sunra -- a very old sun
the e-authn machine -- I recall a suggestion to install vmware on this, along with multiple different OS
My guess is that we should worry about:
fedora (both 2 and 3?)
some form of RH ES....
windows -- what version?
what version of solaris? (if any....) and what compiler?
