Up to you. I don't like the idea of removing potentially useful information, but obviously having multiple paths in a flat document makes it harder to read.

Seems like time, so I just checked in a new version of the deploy guide(/java/doc) containing (I hope) accurate instructions on how to use the Coyote/JK2 connector and when it's possible to do so. If I get the nod of assent from various people I'll put it on the main page.
