You guys are probably dealing with this on irc, but this is another case
where the distribution needs to do the right thing. Obviously this bogus
default value is something people trip over. I just tried commenting out
those elements in resolver.xml and the origin works, but I guess just
doesn't send the scoped attributes? So maybe ship resolver.xml with the
scoped attrs commented out, and give instructions on removing comments?
