Hi All,

So I had a chance to speak with Kim Owen about the professional development that we're going to try and line up from CILC for the content providers and how we'd like to also include an expanded discussion on a standardized and consistent program format for our PPSP events. We were wondering how the group would feel about inviting CILC (http://cilc.org) to be a lead "partner" with us on this project (or even a lead sponsor if "partner" doesn't appeal) in exchange for them waiving the $200 fee for their PD. Is that of interest to this group? Or, should we just continue as planned and assume/hope that we'll find a source of funding for the session? Just a thought and attempt to not have any cash outlay from our participating content providers. Let us know your thoughts and of course we can talk more about this on the call Wed.

Best,
Jennifer

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

·  reconfirm dates

·  connecting national standards

·  discuss content provider training

·  Discuss the marketing – website, flyers, distribution, social media

·  discuss bridging approach

·  other business

I've attached a marketing flyer for us to review and discuss during the meeting.  If you have any questions about the event or suggestions for the agenda please do not hesitate to contact me.

Additionally, I wanted to give a big shout out to Idaho and New Jersey who now have schools interested in participating in the event.  That makes 36 schools total.  I expect many more will join once we get the final dates out to them.  Thanks again for your participation and dedication to this project.
