Hi Florian,

There isn't any specific relation between LS and DNS.

And you don't need to have LS instance in order to run perfSONAR nodes in your closed environment if that was you question.

In case you don't want to register your instances into the LS (whether it's private or public) you can stop the ls_registration_deamon in the node
