I also tried test installing under CentOS 7.9-2009 + latest updates yesterday and ran into the exact same error about not being able to install the required dependency "perfsonar-lscachedaemon" for perfSONAR 5.0.4.

If I browse "http://software.internet2.edu/rpms/el7/x86_64/main/RPMS/", there doesn't seem to be a "perfsonar-lscachedaemon-5.0.4-1.el7.noarch.rpm" RPM file present on the download mirrors.

I can't tell if the .rpm file was never built and uploaded or was intentionally removed in the latest 5.0.4 build process.

I notice that if I manually download the older 5.0.3 version RPM, I can then make perfSONAR 5.0.4 install OK:

curl -O http://software.internet2.edu/rpms/el7/x86_64/5.0.3/RPMS/perfsonar-lscachedaemon-5.0.3-1.el7.noarch.rpm
sudo yum install perfsonar-lscachedaemon-5.0.3-1.el7.noarch.rpm perfsonar-toolkit

The perfsonar-lscachedaemon RPM appears to install just config/script/text files, but it's probably non-ideal to have mixed versions of perfsonar RPMs installed.

On my Ubuntu 20.04.6 test installs, "apt install perfsonar-toolkit" says the install completed OK (with some various warnings) but any Throughput tests I setup via the webadmin interface don't show up under the "Test Results".  Still looking at logs as to why.
