Hi Andreas, 

I am guessing its something particular to SL7. Seems like something went wrong with the opensearch auth setup.  Any error messages during the RPM install?

Under /etc/perfsonar/opensearch do you see any files like opensearch_login and logstash_login? You don’t need to send contents, just want to make sure they exist.

In the file /etc/opensearch/opensearch-security/internal_users.yml, if you do a text search do you see a “pscheduler_reader” user? Again, don’t need to send file.

Yes, this particular system was updated from 4.4.6. It's running SL7.

But, as mentioned, I also have a test system (running SL7 as well) which
was reinstalled from scratch and ended up with the same issue.
