So I would simply have the admin,

Run  psconfig remote add --configure-archives https://192.148.241.9/psconfig/final.json

 

And do the normal stuff on my mesh, like adding any other box.

 

If the remote box has other has other archives, they will simply stack

When you run psconfig remote list on the endpoint.

This would be a two step process:

 

First, you would have to have the remote perfSONAR boxes ingest the test mesh/schedule.  Usually an admin logs on to the node and performs a psconfig command to tell the testpoint/toolkit the location of the schedule.

 

Second, you would tell your Archiver that the remote machines are permitted to send data to the archive.  Adding the remote nodes by IP Address would probably be the easiest way.

For example I would like to add the Perfsonar box that Ohio Super Computer Center has to my grid.

 

Is that possible?

I assuming the testing would be one directional, since I don’t have access to that Iperf, to add my publisher config to that box.
