Greetings All;

Sorry for late FYI - the talk today is being postponed to 11/6 due to a hardware failure of a software repo used for demo purposes.  Apologies for any trouble this may cause.

Thanks;

Greetings All;

Late breaking news - due to a hardware failure of the perfSONAR software repository (a key part of this talk/demo), we need to postpone this talk for today.  We will re-schedule for Nov 6.

As a reminder, other archived talks for the series are here:

And our YouTube channel has videos from the past 3 years:

Next week (Fri Sept 25) we will have Jennifer Schopf from IU International Networks and she will be talking about "NetSage Now”.  More info coming soon.

Thanks;

Greetings All;

The next CI Eng Lunch & Learn talk will occur Friday Sept 18th @ 2pm ET.  The speaker will be Edward Colone from The University of Michigan and he will be talking about “Provisioning perfSONAR with Ansible".  Here is a quick abstract for the talk:

This tutorial will demonstrate the process of provisioning an entire perfSONAR installation with open-source Ansible automations.  Multiple testpoints will be provisioned and integrated with an Esmond Data Archive, a MadDash dashboard, and schedule publishers.  Techniques for deploying both manual and graphical schedule publishers (perfSONAR Web Administration) will be included.  A virtual development environment using Vagrant will be the basis of the demonstration, allowing participants to mock up production deployments.

N.B. The Zoom number for 2020 is the same as 2019, connecting via computer preferred if you want to see materials, etc.  We ask that everyone *MUTE* on entry:
