Do you see any problem in having a mix of Centos 5, Centos 6 and Centos 7 hosts in the mesh? Some of our hosts are old and we cannot upgrade them. Will perfsonar complain in having different versions?

 

Versions of perfSONAR prior to 4.2 are no longer supported, nor is anything on any distribution of CentOS prior to 7.

 

perfSONAR has undergone significant changes over the last few years and no longer interoperates with older versions.  It would be difficult for us to predict what you would be able to do with systems running a mix of older versions, much less support it.
