Hello,

Can you give us more info about the network and interfaces setup on this 
host?  Is there a special Xen networking setup for this VM?  I see there are 
at least 2 interfaces eth1 and br-ex, but maybe others.  What is the output 
of the following commands:

/sbin/ifquery --all --list
/sbin/ifquery --allow hotplug --list

Can you also run

bash -x /etc/init.d/perfsonar-configure_nic_parameters start
