Ah, "pscheduler plot-schedule"

Well, if it just exec's gnuplot (rather than linking with the libraries) then I think it would be OK for this command to fail if gnuplot were not present. You could then move gnuplot to "recommends" or "suggests" rather than "depends".

The trouble with "depends" is that it forces dependencies both ways: if I ever uninstalled gnuplot, it would forcibly uninstall pscheduler as well.
