Hello Andreas,

Generally it is not normal to have the regulartesting service at 99%. Well this depends on multiple factors like number of tests scheduled, server resources (CPU, disk) and alike.

Nevertheless it is harmless to restart the service (service perfsonar-regulartesting restart) and see how it behaves. Also please send us the /var/log/perfsonar/regulartesting.log

Ivan Garnizov

Subject: [perfsonar-user] Perfsonar Device issue

Hi,

I have perfsonar device participating in a central measurement archive and using the Maddash. The network went down yesterday and the device lost access to the MA, but when the network came back up other devices within the network are working fine but this one is not either updating the MA or not performing test properly. As when I run the “top” command I can see one regular testing running at 99%, is this normal?

Many thanks,

Andreas
