First of all thank you for trying and using perfSONAR.

I'm not sure I got the first problem. Did you mean the tests configured disappear from your configuration? Did you make sure you saved it?

Wrt tests - did you try to verify connectivity and tests from CLI?
Please try to run the test between your node and some of the remote nodes you configured with the use of:
owping <remote_host>
Did you make sure the firewall ports are open in your network?
And finally please see if there is anything suspicious in the logs in /var/log/perfsonar
