perfSONAR User Q&A and Other Discussion

Hello:

I an trying to install perfsonar on a Ubuntu 14.04 machine.

I followed the installation instructions from http://docs.perfsonar.net/install_debian.html#support

When I tried to start lookup service registration daemon service, it gives me the error:

I received a reply from Antonie Delvaux that I can try 'cpan -i Sys::MemInfo ' to update perl api version of SysInfo. But the same problem still remains.

How should I fix this?

Also, I wanted to install perfSONAR toolkit so that I can schedule some tests simply from the GUI.

But most of the installation document is only for CentOS, not Debian./Ubuntu, like http://docs.perfsonar.net/install_quick_start.html.

Any suggestion how I can install toolkit on Ubuntu?
