I have a followed up question. I also want to install perfSONAR toolkit so that I can schedule some tests simply from the GUI.

But most of the installation document is only for CentOS, not Debian/Ubuntu. like http://docs.perfsonar.net/install_quick_start.html

Any suggestion how I can install toolkit on Ubuntu machine?

Yes, the installation on Ubuntu 14 LTS is not straightforward at the moment, contrary to what we have documented.  This is because this Sys::MemInfo module is a binary package that we compiled under Debian Wheezy which has a different perl version.

We’re looking at the best way to resolve this issue.

Meanwhile, if you’re at ease with perl, you can install this module through CPAN with a regular `cpan -i Sys::MemInfo` and the lsregistrationdaemon should then be able to start.
