Hi,


I am a student of Nanyang Technological University working on assignment involving perfSONAR. It would be of tremendous help if you can clarify my doubts. 


On the perfSONAR installation page, there are 5 options.

  1. perfSONAR Tools
  2. perfSONAR Testpoint
  3. perfSONAR Core
  4. perfSONAR Complete 
  5. perfSONAR Central Management
I am trying to install on a Ubuntu machine but only 2 of above options, option 1 and 2, are available on the Debian installation page. 

I would like to clarify my understanding of the various installation options.

  • Does both option 1 and 2 exclude the Measurement Archive service?
  • Can both option 1 and 2 be Measurement Points?
